Brittany started her own horse journey with the goal of proving to herself there was a kinder, gentler way to train. As an avid barrel racer in her teens, she found it difficult to cheer on competitors who whipped and spurred their horses in excess. Even the hunter/jumper arena was full of blatant abuse that was somehow acceptable in the competition world. Realizing she couldn't control others and make them treat their horses better, she decided to embody the change she so desperately wanted to see. By 2018, Brittany made her bridleless show jumping debut on Skye and never looked back! She has since gone on to compete in jumping, dressage tests, and flat classes both in and out of the bridle. Brittany and Skye have participated in a public event demonstrating bridleless riding as well!
Wondering if her newfound skillet could be applied to other horses, Brittany began riding and training other horses she owned for bridleless. Once her skillset was well honed, she applied her knowledge base with great success to client horses.
While not every horse and rider pair has to be able to go bridleless, Brittany hopes that what she can show others that there is a better way. A kinder way. A more loving way to meet your equestrian goals.
